Cut the chicken into 3 cm cubes. Whisk together 60 ml olive oil, the juice of the lemon, the oregano, 2 crushed garlic cloves, salt, and pepper, then turn the chicken through the marinade.

Cover and marinate the chicken in the fridge. Meanwhile, soak 8 wooden skewers in water so they hold up over the fire.

For the tzatziki, coarsely grate the cucumber, salt it generously, and squeeze it out thoroughly after 10 minutes. Stir it into the yogurt with the remaining grated garlic clove, chopped dill, and 15 ml olive oil, season with salt and pepper, and chill.

Thread the chicken onto the skewers. Heat a grill or grill pan until very hot and grill the skewers on all sides until charred golden and just cooked through at the center.
