Zutaten

  • 8 piece bone-in chicken thighs with skin
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 2 g smoked paprika
  • 2 g sweet paprika
  • 30 ml olive oil
  • 1 piece lemon
  • 1 bunch thyme
  • 5 g salt
  • 1 pinch black pepper

Zubereitung

  1. Grate the garlic finely and stir it with both paprikas, the olive oil, salt, pepper and the grated zest of the lemon into a paste. Rub it all over the chicken thighs, working some under the skin.
  2. Lay the thighs skin-side up on a baking tray and let them sit for at least 20 minutes to take on the flavour. Meanwhile heat the oven to 220 degrees.
  3. Scatter a few thyme sprigs over the top and roast on the middle shelf for 40 to 45 minutes, until the skin is golden and crisp and the juices run clear.
  4. Rest briefly and serve with lemon wedges.
