Bavarian Wurstsalat (Sausage Salad)
A German classic from Bavaria: Wurstsalat belongs on every Brotzeit board and in every beer garden, whether as a small meal in the afternoon or late in the evening. Fine strips of sausage steep in a punchy vinegar and oil marinade with plenty of onion and pickled gherkin until everything is juicy and savoury. Fresh pretzels belong with it.
