Put the oats, milk, water, half of the cinnamon and a pinch of salt into a pot and bring to a boil.

Simmer over low heat, stirring occasionally, for about eight minutes until the porridge is creamy.

Meanwhile, dice the apples and caramelize them in a pan with the butter, the remaining cinnamon and half of the honey for a few minutes until golden.
