Spanish Garlic Prawns

Ingredients

  • 500 g raw peeled prawns
  • 6 cloves garlic
  • 120 ml olive oil
  • 1 piece red chilli
  • 1 bunch flat-leaf parsley
  • 1 piece lemon
  • 200 g white bread

Instructions

  1. Pat the prawns dry and season lightly with salt. Slice the garlic thinly and finely chop the chilli.
  2. Warm the olive oil in a pan over medium heat and let the garlic and chilli turn slowly golden and fragrant.
  3. Turn up the heat, add the prawns and toss until they are pink and just cooked through, then finish with a squeeze of lemon juice.
  4. Shower with plenty of chopped parsley and serve at once with crusty white bread to soak up the fragrant oil.
