Soak the bread roll in lukewarm water and squeeze it out well after five minutes. Finely dice the onion and chop the parsley.

Knead the minced meat, squeezed bread roll, onion, egg, mustard, parsley, salt and pepper firmly by hand into a smooth mixture. With damp hands shape eight balls and press them flat.

Heat the oil in a pan and fry the patties over medium heat for about six minutes on each side, until golden brown and cooked through.
