Classic Tiramisu

Ingredients

  • 500 g mascarpone
  • 4 piece eggs
  • 100 g sugar
  • 200 g ladyfingers
  • 300 ml espresso
  • 30 ml amaretto
  • 20 g cocoa powder
  • 1 pinch salt

Instructions

  1. Brew the espresso, mix it with the amaretto and let it cool. Separate the eggs and beat the whites with a pinch of salt until stiff.
  2. Beat the egg yolks and sugar until creamy, then stir in the mascarpone. Gently fold in the stiff egg whites until you have an airy cream.
  3. Briefly dip the ladyfingers in the cold espresso and line the base of a dish with them. Layer cream and biscuits alternately, finishing with cream.
  4. Let the tiramisu set covered in the fridge. Dust thickly with cocoa powder just before serving.
