- 600 g white fish fillet (e.g. cod)
- 800 g floury potatoes
- 400 ml milk
- 40 g butter
- 30 g flour
- 150 g peas
- 50 g grated cheese
- 0.5 bunch chives
- 1 pinch nutmeg
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 pinch black pepper
Preparazione
- Peel and chop the potatoes, boil in salted water until soft, then mash with a little milk and half the butter.
- Gently poach the fish in the remaining milk, lift it out and keep the milk.
- Make a light sauce from the remaining butter, the flour and the poaching milk, and season with nutmeg, salt and pepper.
- Break the fish into pieces, combine with the peas and sauce in a baking dish and stir in the chives.
- Spread the mash on top, sprinkle with cheese and bake at 200 °C until golden.
