Zutaten

  • 250 g wheat flour
  • 120 ml lukewarm water
  • 45 ml oil
  • 1 kg apples
  • 80 g sugar
  • 6 g ground cinnamon
  • 60 g raisins
  • 60 g breadcrumbs
  • 60 g butter

Zubereitung

  1. Knead the flour, water, oil and a pinch of salt into a smooth, supple dough. Coat it in oil, cover and let it rest.
  2. Peel, core and thinly slice the apples. Mix with sugar, cinnamon and raisins. Toast the breadcrumbs in a little butter until golden.
  3. Stretch the dough wafer-thin on a floured cloth, brush with melted butter and scatter the crumbs over it. Place the apple filling along one third.
  4. Roll up the strudel using the cloth, place it on a tray, brush with butter and bake at 190 C until golden. Serve dusted with powdered sugar.
