AI Transparency
Since August 2, 2026, the transparency obligations of the EU AI Act (Art. 50) apply. Culinse deliberately goes one step further than the law requires: this page openly explains where we use artificial intelligence — and where we don't.
Recipes from our corpus
The recipes in our corpus are created with artificial intelligence (research, text and structure) and editorially reviewed before publication — including ingredients, quantities and preparation steps. They are published under our editorial responsibility and carry the note “Recipe and image AI-created, editorially reviewed” on the recipe page. Recipes written by community members themselves are exempt and labelled as community content.
Blog & translations
Blog articles are created with AI assistance and are editorially reviewed and approved before publication. Our content is also AI-translated into several languages; translation errors may occur.
Automated estimates
Estimated grocery costs (discount-store price level) and nutrition values are algorithmic estimates based on the ingredient lists. They are a helpful guide, not guaranteed values — actual prices and nutrition vary.
Images
All recipe images in our corpus are AI-generated. We create them with Higgsfield and label them twice: visibly inside the image itself (“KI-generiert · AI-generated”) and with the AI note on the recipe page. The images are serving suggestions — the cooked dish may look different in detail. Photos that community members upload for their own recipes are exempt from the AI label.
What we don't do
There is no AI chatbot on Culinse — if we ever add one, it will clearly identify itself as AI. We make no automated decisions with legal effect about user accounts, and we do no advertising profiling, no emotion recognition and no biometric categorisation.
